His distinguished 35-year career in public service saw him serve as a volunteer firefighter before rising to the rank of full-time fire chief in Callander, Napanee, and South West Oxford. Now back in North Bay, he continues to serve as a volunteer firefighter with the Nipissing Fire Department.

Joining him in this venture is his brother and business partner Kelly Serson, who shares his passion for community service and helping homeowners achieve their real estate goals.
